Light

With many lamps, the color temperature can be adjusted via app. In this model, the color temperature ranges from 2000 kelvin to 6500 kelvin. The smart bulb has a brightness of about 570 lumen. However, it should be noted that these values are often tested with a white light, as this is the brightest. Typical light bulbs from the old days usually consume about 25-40 watts per hour. The smarthome light described here Hue Iris Black gets by in comparison with 8.1 w.

Design

If we look at the design, we inevitably have to look at the smart light's casing. Complete systems are often offered particularly pretty or compact. Unfortunately, this also means that opening the housing is not provided and changing the light source is not possible. However, if it is a smart device with a lamp socket, for example, the illuminants can be changed in the simplest way. In this case, it is unfortunately not possible to change the bulbs used from Hue Iris Black because they are permanently installed. This is usually the case with smart light bulbs and cannot be solved without problems, for example at Philips. Philips chose synthetic & metal as the casing material. The color was kept in black. This light weighs 860 g.

Protection

The IP rating classifies and evaluates the level of protection that mechanical and electrical enclosures provide against ingress, dust, accidental contact and water. These smarthome lights are classified as IP20.
