Light
With many lamps, the color temperature can be adjusted via app. In this model, the color temperature ranges from 2000 kelvin to 6500 kelvin. The smart bulb has a brightness of about 570 lumen. However, it should be noted that these values are often tested with a white light, as this is the brightest. Typical light bulbs from the old days usually consume about 25-40 watts per hour. The smarthome light described here Hue Iris Rosé Limited Edition gets by in comparison with 8.1 w.
Design
While LED's usually have a much longer life span than conventional bulbs, the replacement of the bulbs was not made possible by Philips. Admittedly, this is acceptable for pure light bulbs, but larger housings could cause more electrical waste. The housing is made of synthetic & metal in the attractive color Rosé. This lamp has a weight of 874 g.
Protection
The Smarthome lights are classified as IP20 and may be able to withstand water, dust or accidental contact to a certain degree. For more information, see IP code on Wikipedia.
