Communication
A wide variety of technologies can be used to control the Smarthome light, each of which can have its own advantages and disadvantages. For example, control via Wifi can be integrated into an existing network over longer distances, but consumes more power than, for example, Zigbee or Bluetooth. Light
With many lamps, the color temperature can be adjusted via app. In this model, the color temperature ranges from 2200 kelvin to 2200 kelvin. The brightness (lumens) of the Smarthome light was specified by IKEA with 250 lumen. For comparison, an average halogen tube has a value of about 410 lumens with a power consumption of 40W. The power consumption might also be relevant for some. IKEA has indicated this with 2,7 w.
Design
IKEA chose glas as the casing material. The color was kept in white.
Protection
Please be careful when exposing these lights to water, dust or mechanical stress because the Tradfri LED E27 (250lm; white) does not have IP certification.
