Light
With many lamps, the color temperature can be adjusted via app. In this model, the color temperature ranges from 2200 lumen to 6500 lumen. The brightness (lumens) of the Smarthome light was specified by Philips with 2400 lumen. For comparison, an average halogen tube has a value of about 410 lumens with a power consumption of 40W. Power consumption was reported at 27 w from Philips.
Design
The first step is the sustainability check: The installed light sources are permanently installed by Philips and thus unfortunately cannot be replaced. Although LEDs consume less power and have a longer lifespan, this is very annoying, especially for larger devices. With bulbs that have the electronics directly installed, a change by the manufacturer is difficult to implement. This is unfortunately a pity, but currently unavoidable. The housing is made of white synthetics. You should expect the product weight to be around 1.792 kg.
Protection
The Smarthome lights are classified as IP44 and may be able to withstand water, dust or accidental contact to a certain degree. For more information, see IP code on Wikipedia.
