Communication
A wide variety of technologies can be used to control the Smarthome light, each of which can have its own advantages and disadvantages. For example, control via Wifi can be integrated into an existing network over longer distances, but consumes more power than, for example, Zigbee or Bluetooth. Wifi is therefore only suitable for devices that are permanently connected to the power grid. WiFi Filament ST19 Edison supports the following technologies:

Light
The lamp can assume a color temperature between 2000 and 2000 kelvin. The smart bulb has a brightness of about 600 lumen. However, it should be noted that these values are often tested with a white light, as this is the brightest.
Design
If we look at the design, we inevitably have to look at the smart light's casing. Complete systems are often offered particularly pretty or compact. Unfortunately, this also means that opening the housing is not provided and changing the light source is not possible. However, if it is a smart device with a lamp socket, for example, the illuminants can be changed in the simplest way. In this case, it is unfortunately not possible to change the bulbs used from WiFi Filament ST19 Edison because they are permanently installed. This is usually the case with smart light bulbs and cannot be solved without problems, for example at Sengled. The case is made of glass in a golden color.
Protection
Make sure that these lights do not come into contact with water, dust or mechanical influences, as the WiFi Filament ST19 Edison does not have IP certification.
