Within this article we will take a closer look at the technical specifications of the 32BN67U-B monitor from LG. For this we will talk about all possible categories that could be relevant. To start with, we will look at the display, talk about the design and in the next section we will go into the features of the monitor. Let's start with the size of the display. It is 31 inches ( 80.1 cm on the diagonal) large and should thus offer enough space for all contents according to LG. Approximately 91.2 % of the front surface of the monitor is covered by the display, while the remaining area consists of screen edges that do not allow any image output. Above all, bright environments are a challenge for monitors. The brightness of the monitor is crucial for an accurate and color-true reproduction of the image to outshine the ambient light. The panel of the 32BN67U-B shines with a brightness of 380 nt. The panel is illuminated by W-LED. The built-in panel ensures stable color reproduction of the image, even at deviating viewing angles, by means of its 178 ° (horizontal) viewing angle. LG promises stable color reproduction moreover within a 178 ° vertical angle. Vertically, however, the image renews at a minimum rate of 56 hz up to 61 hz. The minimum response time of the monitor is ms. The display panel is Anti-glare/Matte (3H).
Color space
The panel has a bit depth of 10 per color channel, but what does that mean? The number of bits determines how many colors can be encoded for the individual pixels of the display. For an 8-bit panel, for example, this is 256 different colors (2^8 = 256). However, since we usually display three different colors per pixel at the same time, in theory about 16 million (256^3) different colors are possible by mixing the three pixels. A 10-bit panel could even display a billion colors. According to the manufacturer, the coverage of the DCI-P3 color space is 95 %.
Contrast ratio
Contrast ratio is a common measurement used to represent the maximum relative differences in brightness between black and white. It describes the ability of a screen or projector to produce a high-contrast image and is the quotient of the maximum and minimum displayable luminance. The higher the values are away from each other, the stronger the quantitatively seen difference between black and white is set up, which in turn results in an improved image quality. This monitor from LG has a static contrast ratio of 1000 : 1 , according to the manufacturer.

The size of the monitor (stand included) is 64.5 x 71.4 x 25.2 cm (HxWxD). The device weighs in total (i.e. also measured with the stand) 9.9 kg. Without stand, the monitor weighs 6.5 kg. A height-adjustable stand ensures an improved ergonomic posture during use. The monitor can be moved to a maximum height of 15 cm. This value is always measured from the bottom edge of the screen.
Rotate, tilt and swivel
The monitor from LG has a pivot function and can thus be rotated using the included stand. A rotation to the left is possible with up to 90 degree. To the right, the monitor can be rotated by 0 degree. The 32BN67U-B can be swiveled when mounted on the included stand. Pivoting to the left is possible up to 45 degree. Pivoting to the right is possible up to 45 degree. The monitor 32BN67U-B offers the option of adjusting the tilt as required to create an ergonomic working environment and reduce visual fatigue. The angle of inclination to the rear is 35. The monitor can be tilted forward by 5 degree.

Anyone who works a lot on the computer spends many hours a day in front of the screen. Excessive screen work can damage the eyes. This effect can be particularly pronounced during the darker hours and in the winter months. Many monitor manufacturers have now reacted and offer technologies and settings to reduce the blue component, which is primarily controversial. Depending on the manufacturer, these can be called "Low Blue Light", "Low Blue Light Technology", "SoftBlue" or even "Eye Saver Mode" and function differently. However, it is only important that LG offers a technology to reduce the blue content in its monitor 32BN67U-B. The average consumption was given by LG as 45 w. The maximum power consumption (peak) specified for this monitor is 110 w. In standby mode, the device consumes approximately 0.5 w. When switched off, on the other hand, the monitor consumes only 0.3 w. Generally, these values should be taken with a grain of salt, since the power consumption is highly dependent on the current conditions. A monitor usually consumes much more power in bright scenes with a high refresh rate than in dark still pictures. In addition, the 32BN67U-B has a (smart) energy-saving mode, which is supposed to ensure a lower average power consumption. In ECO mode, the monitor consumes 30.75 w. The monitor can be operated on a 110v power supply. The monitor can be operated on a 220v power supply. The power grid has to supply a frequency of 50 hz to 60 hz.
Environment
During operation, the ambient temperature must not exceed 40 °C , to ensure full functionality. Below a temperature of 0 °C , the monitor from LG should again not be used. The humidity must not exceed 80 percent. At least, however, 10 percent humidity. The monitor may be stored at a maximum humidity of 85 percent. The minimum humidity during storage should not fall below 5 percent. The maximum storage temperature should be according to LG 60 °C. Minimal were given by LG -20 °C.
