Lenovo ThinkVision T25m-10

Product image for ThinkVision T25m-10

Within this article we will take a closer look at the technical specifications of the ThinkVision T25m-10 monitor from Lenovo. For this we will talk about all possible categories that could be relevant. To start with, we will look at the display, talk about the design and in the next section we will go into the features of the monitor. Other features such as power consumption, connectors and certifications will follow later in the text.

Display

Let's start with the size of the actual display. This information is given in inches and measures the screen diagonal of the display. It can happen that displays with the same size specification have different dimensions, since square monitors, for example, can belong to the same category as a widescreen monitor. The monitor from Lenovo in this article has a size of 25 inches ( 68.4 cm on the diagonal). As already known, two monitors with different outer dimensions can have the same screen diagonal. In the case of the monitor ThinkVision T25m-10 , we find an aspect ratio of 1.778 to 1. This means that for every 1 pixels in height, 1.778 pixels in width are added. For comparison: A classic CRT monitor had an aspect ratio of 4:3. In addition to the aspect ratios and the specified screen diagonal, some enthusiasts may also be interested in the ratio between the monitor surface and the actual display. This ratio describes the general relationship between non-display and display. In other words, approximately 88.1 % of the front surface of the monitor consists of the display, while the rest consists of screen edges and cannot display an image. When setting up several monitors next to each other, it is advisable to give preference to models with the narrowest possible edges. The display is a IPS panel. The panel has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 px. The pixel density is 111 ppi. The pixel pitch is 0.233 mm. The continuous possible brightness specified by the manufacturer Lenovo is 450 nt. The panel is illuminated by W-LED. The built-in panel ensures stable color reproduction of the image, even at deviating viewing angles, by means of its 178 ° (horizontal) viewing angle. Lenovo promises stable color reproduction moreover within a 178 ° vertical angle. Vertically, however, the image renews at a minimum rate of 60 hz up to 60 hz. The minimum response time of the monitor is ms. The average response time of the monitor is about ms. The display panel is Anti-glare/Matte (3H).

Color space

The panel has a bit depth of 8 per color channel, but what does that mean? The number of bits determines how many colors can be encoded for the individual pixels of the display. For an 8-bit panel, for example, this is 256 different colors (2^8 = 256). However, since we usually display three different colors per pixel at the same time, in theory about 16 million (256^3) different colors are possible by mixing the three pixels. A 10-bit panel could even display a billion colors. The coverage of the Adobe RGB 1998 color space is 113 % according to the manufacturer. According to the manufacturer, the coverage of the NTSC 1953 color space is 96 %. According to the manufacturer, the coverage of the SRGB color space is 107 %. The REC 2020 color space is covered to 81 %.

Contrast ratio

Contrast ratio is a common measurement used to represent the maximum relative differences in brightness between black and white. It describes the ability of a screen or projector to produce a high-contrast image and is the quotient of the maximum and minimum displayable luminance. The higher the values are away from each other, the stronger the quantitatively seen difference between black and white is set up, which in turn results in an improved image quality. This monitor from Lenovo has a static contrast ratio of 2500 : 1 , according to the manufacturer.

HDR

The monitor supports all HDR modes listed here:

screen design

The following dimensions must be planned for a free-standing stand without attached feet/stand: 34.4 cm x 62.4 cm x 5 cm (HxWxD)
If you want to place the monitor described here on the desk without a wall mount, you should allow for 35 x 61.5 x 22 cm (HxWxD) of space. If you want to place the monitor on a table or even transport it, you should expect a weight of 9.5 kg with the stand screwed in. Without stand, the monitor weighs 6.4 kg. Speaking of weight without a stand and thus wall or table mounts. The monitor supports a Vesa mounting. A height-adjustable stand ensures an improved ergonomic posture during use. The monitor can be moved to a maximum height of 9 cm. This value is always measured from the bottom edge of the screen.

Rotate, tilt and swivel

The monitor from Lenovo has a pivot function and can thus be rotated using the included stand. A rotation to the left is possible with up to 90 degree. To the right, the monitor can be rotated by 90 degree. The ThinkVision T25m-10 can be swiveled when mounted on the included stand. Pivoting to the left is possible up to 45 degree. Pivoting to the right is possible up to 45 degree. The tilt of the monitor ThinkVision T25m-10 can be individually adjusted to optimize the viewing angle and increase comfort during use. The angle of inclination to the rear is 12. The monitor can be tilted forward by 3 degree.

Ports

With the built-in 1 RJ45 Ethernet port(s) on the ' ThinkVision T25m-10 ' monitor, users can establish a wired network connection. This feature provides a stable connectivity option for those who need a reliable network connection, whether for professional tasks or mission-critical applications.

Power consumption

The average consumption figure for ThinkVision T25m-10 is 67 w. In standby mode, the device consumes approximately 0.5 w. ThinkVision T25m-10 supports a static ECO mode, which for example lowers the refresh rate, reduces brightness and disables AI functions to save energy. The monitor can be operated on a 110v power supply. The monitor can be operated on a 220v power supply. The power grid has to supply a frequency of 50 hz to 60 hz.

Environment

The monitor has a built-in ambient light sensor, which can be used, for example, to dynamically adjust the brightness of the monitor to the ambient conditions. The maximum height at which the monitor may be operated, according to the manufacturer's specifications, is 5 km. During operation, the ambient temperature must not exceed 35 °C , to ensure full functionality. Below a temperature of 5 °C , the monitor from Lenovo should again not be used. The humidity must not exceed 80 percent. At least, however, 20 percent humidity. The monitor may be stored at a maximum humidity of 85 percent. The minimum humidity during storage should not fall below 10 percent. The maximum storage temperature should be according to Lenovo 60 °C. Minimal were given by Lenovo -10 °c. According to the manufacturer, the monitor may be stored at a maximum height of 12.192 km.
