Light

With many lamps, the color temperature can be adjusted via app. In this model, the color temperature ranges from 2700 kelvin to 6500 kelvin. The unit lumen is a measurement to determine the amount of light emitted per given time. Conversely, this means that the higher the lumen, the brighter a lamp shines. As a rule, for example, 500-600 lumens per square meter are sufficient to illuminate a bathroom. For comparison, the BR30 WiFi Smart Bulb is given as 1300. Typical light bulbs from the old days usually consume about 25-40 watts per hour. The smarthome light described here BR30 WiFi Smart Bulb gets by in comparison with 14 w. However, it is important to note that Meross is free to define this specification within certain limits. It is therefore possible that the power consumption may deviate slightly when the light is on at full brightness.

Design

While LED's usually have a much longer life span than conventional bulbs, the replacement of the bulbs was not made possible by Meross. Admittedly, this is acceptable for pure light bulbs, but larger housings could cause more electrical waste. The housing is made of white plastics. The device has a weight of 331 g.
