Light
With many lamps, the color temperature can be adjusted via app. In this model, the color temperature ranges from 2700 kelvin to 6500 kelvin. The unit lumen is a measurement to determine the amount of light emitted per given time. Conversely, this means that the higher the lumen, the brighter a lamp shines. As a rule, for example, 500-600 lumens per square meter are sufficient to illuminate a bathroom. For comparison, the LED WiFi Outdoor Spot is given as 500. Typical light bulbs from the old days usually consume about 25-40 watts per hour. The smarthome light described here LED WiFi Outdoor Spot gets by in comparison with 20 w.
Design
The first step is the sustainability check: The installed light sources are permanently installed by Goove and thus unfortunately cannot be replaced. Although LEDs consume less power and have a longer lifespan, this is very annoying, especially for larger devices. With bulbs that have the electronics directly installed, a change by the manufacturer is difficult to implement. This is unfortunately a pity, but currently unavoidable. Goove chose metal as the casing material. The color was kept in black. The device has a weight of 1.63 kg.
Protection
The Smarthome lights are classified as IP66 and may be able to withstand water, dust or accidental contact to a certain degree. For more information, see IP code on Wikipedia.
