Communication
A wide variety of technologies can be used to control the Smarthome light, each of which can have its own advantages and disadvantages. For example, control via Wifi can be integrated into an existing network over longer distances, but consumes more power than, for example, Zigbee or Bluetooth. Light
The lamp can assume a color temperature between 2700 and 6500 kelvin. The brightness (lumens) of the Smarthome light was specified by LIGHTEU with 1800 lumen. For comparison, an average halogen tube has a value of about 410 lumens with a power consumption of 40W. Typical light bulbs from the old days usually consume about 25-40 watts per hour. However, it is important to note that LIGHTEU is free to define this specification within certain limits. It is therefore possible that the power consumption may deviate slightly when the light is on at full brightness.
Design
Unfortunately, in this case, we have to start with bad news regarding the design, because the sustainability aspect was neglected in the light sources installed in the device. The manufacturer did not take the replacement of the bulbs into account, which means that the entire device has to be replaced. The housing is made of silver Aluminum/PMMA.
Protection
The IP rating classifies and evaluates the level of protection that mechanical and electrical enclosures provide against ingress, dust, accidental contact and water. These smarthome lights are classified as IP66.
