Specifications

In this article, we will list all known specifications for the Milight RGBCCT Wall washer light smarthome light from LIGHTEU. We have categorized this product as Wall washer light.

Communication

A wide variety of technologies can be used to control the Smarthome light, each of which can have its own advantages and disadvantages. For example, control via Wifi can be integrated into an existing network over longer distances, but consumes more power than, for example, Zigbee or Bluetooth. Wifi is therefore only suitable for devices that are permanently connected to the power grid. Milight RGBCCT Wall washer light supports the following technologies:

  • W-Lan (2.4 GHz)

Supported functions

The following features/functions are supported by this device:

  • Switch the light on or off via your smartphone or the Bridge.
  • Change the brightness.
  • Changing the color temperature like warm or cool white.
  • Multiple colors can be selected in the smartphone app.
  • The luminaire can be configured to emit a white light.
  • Automatic switch-on behavior.

Third party integrations

Don't want to use the integration/bridge that the manufacturer LIGHTEU specifies? That's not a problem. See the list below for all verified integrations that work with Milight RGBCCT Wall washer light :

Light

The lamp can assume a color temperature between 2700 and 6500 kelvin. The brightness (lumens) of the Smarthome light was specified by LIGHTEU with 1800 lumen. For comparison, an average halogen tube has a value of about 410 lumens with a power consumption of 40W. Typical light bulbs from the old days usually consume about 25-40 watts per hour. The smarthome light described here Milight RGBCCT Wall washer light gets by in comparison with 24 w. However, it is important to note that LIGHTEU is free to define this specification within certain limits. It is therefore possible that the power consumption may deviate slightly when the light is on at full brightness.

Design

Unfortunately, in this case, we have to start with bad news regarding the design, because the sustainability aspect was neglected in the light sources installed in the device. The manufacturer did not take the replacement of the bulbs into account, which means that the entire device has to be replaced. The housing is made of silver Aluminum/PMMA.

Protection

The IP rating classifies and evaluates the level of protection that mechanical and electrical enclosures provide against ingress, dust, accidental contact and water. These smarthome lights are classified as IP66.
