Light
The lamp can assume a color temperature between 2000 and 6500 kelvin. The brightness (lumens) of the Smarthome light was specified by Philips with 570 lumen. For comparison, an average halogen tube has a value of about 410 lumens with a power consumption of 40W. Power consumption was reported at 8.2 w from Philips.
Design
If we look at the design, we inevitably have to look at the smart light's casing. Complete systems are often offered particularly pretty or compact. Unfortunately, this also means that opening the housing is not provided and changing the light source is not possible. However, if it is a smart device with a lamp socket, for example, the illuminants can be changed in the simplest way. In this case, it is unfortunately not possible to change the bulbs used from Hue Iris Silver Limited Edition because they are permanently installed. This is usually the case with smart light bulbs and cannot be solved without problems, for example at Philips. The case is made of synthetic & metal in a silver color. This light weighs 874 g.
Protection
The IP rating classifies and evaluates the level of protection that mechanical and electrical enclosures provide against ingress, dust, accidental contact and water. These smarthome lights are classified as IP20.
