Communication

What would smart devices in our household be if they could not communicate with each other? Most likely not smart! For this reason, Klyqa has provided one or more of the following communication channels for integration:

  • Wireless Internet (2.4 GHz)

Supported functions

The following features/functions are supported by this device:

  • Switch the light on or off via your smartphone or the Bridge.
  • Change the brightness.
  • Adjustment of the color temperature settings to warm or cool shades of white.
  • Multiple colors can be selected in the smartphone app.
  • The lamp can be adjusted so that it shines in a clear white.
  • Wireless updates
  • Automatic switch-on behavior.

Third party integrations

Don't want to use the integration/bridge that the manufacturer Klyqa specifies? That's not a problem. See the list below for all verified integrations that work with E14 Color Bulb WLAN :

Light

The lamp can assume a color temperature between 2700 and 6500 kelvin. Conventional light bulbs usually consume more power than an LED lamp to provide the same illumination of the room. However, in order to be able to make a comparison between the various illuminants, the specification of the lumens is increasingly made. This is the amount of light emitted in a certain time, without paying attention to the power consumption. For comparison: A conventional light bulb with 40W power will show about 400-450 lumens. The Smarthome light considered here, on the other hand, emits 470 lumen. Klyqa has defined the power consumption for the devices described here with 5 w. However, the specification may differ from the actual power consumption depending on which colors/color temperatures and brightnesses are set. For example, while manufacturers mostly measure lumens at white color and full brightness, the power consumption might have been measured at slight dimming. However, it would also be possible to measure at full brightness, which could lower the power consumption at 5 w. In short, this is an approximate guide from Klyqa.

Design

Klyqa chose Aluminium as the casing material. The color was kept in White. The device weighs in at 33 g.

Protection

Please be careful when exposing these lights to water, dust or mechanical stress because the E14 Color Bulb WLAN does not have IP certification.
