Specifications
The company Mercator Ikuü offers with its product 70mm Walter (Zigbee) a smarthome solution in the field of lighting. We have categorized this product as surface-mounted spot.
Communication
Communication between, for example, the smartphone and the smarthome device takes place via one or more of the following technologies:
- Zigbee protocol
Supported functions
The following features/functions are supported by this device:
- Control the light conveniently with your smartphone or the Bridge - switch it on or off as required.
- Change the brightness.
- Adjustment of the color temperature settings to warm or cool shades of white.
- The luminaire can be configured to emit a white light.
- Automatic switch-on behavior.
Third party integrations
Don't want to use the integration/bridge that the manufacturer Mercator Ikuü specifies? That's not a problem. See the list below for all verified integrations that work with 70mm Walter (Zigbee) :
- Intelligent home control with Zigbee home automation
Light
The lamp can assume a color temperature between 3000 and 5700 kelvin. Conventional light bulbs usually consume more power than an LED lamp to provide the same illumination of the room. However, in order to be able to make a comparison between the various illuminants, the specification of the lumens is increasingly made. This is the amount of light emitted in a certain time, without paying attention to the power consumption. For comparison: A conventional light bulb with 40W power will show about 400-450 lumens. The Smarthome light considered here, on the other hand, emits 570 lumen. Mercator Ikuü has defined the power consumption for the devices described here with 7 w. However, the specification may differ from the actual power consumption depending on which colors/color temperatures and brightnesses are set. For example, while manufacturers mostly measure lumens at white color and full brightness, the power consumption might have been measured at slight dimming. However, it would also be possible to measure at full brightness, which could lower the power consumption at 7 w. In short, this is an approximate guide from Mercator Ikuü.
Design
The housing is made of Aluminium and comes in a white color. The device has a weight of 240 g.
Protection
The smart home lights have a classification of IP44 and may offer a certain degree of protection against water, dust and accidental contact. Further details can be found in the IP code article on Wikipedia.
