Light

The lamp can assume a color temperature between 3000 and 3000 kelvin. Conventional light bulbs usually consume more power than an LED lamp to provide the same illumination of the room. However, in order to be able to make a comparison between the various illuminants, the specification of the lumens is increasingly made. This is the amount of light emitted in a certain time, without paying attention to the power consumption. For comparison: A conventional light bulb with 40W power will show about 400-450 lumens. The Smarthome light considered here, on the other hand, emits 1800 lumen. Typical light bulbs from the old days usually consume about 25-40 watts per hour. The smarthome light described here Q-Vidal RGBW 24W Ceiling Lamp gets by in comparison with 24 w.

Design

While LED's usually have a much longer life span than conventional bulbs, the replacement of the bulbs was not made possible by Paul Neuhaus. Admittedly, this is acceptable for pure light bulbs, but larger housings could cause more electrical waste. The case is made of steel in a silver color.

Protection

The IP classification determines the degree of protection that mechanical and electrical housings offer against the ingress of foreign bodies, dust, accidental contact and water. These smart home lights have a classification of IP20.
